Well the winter was unforgiving,
and the ground still frosty white.
Our only redeeming graces, was that springtime was in sight.
But the springtime is for cleaning,
so what am I to do?
When all the cleaning to be done,
is inside of you.
So I sing for forgiveness,

I sing for all my worries to be tossed into the grave.
But I pray, for the strength
to dig all these shallow graves...

Disappointment is the worst kind of hurt
